I have absolutely loved living here. When I was told I was the successful applicant and picked up the keys, I cried.
I had recently left Perth with my two children, five suitcases, and one car seat. I had left a bad relationship with nothing to my name. I had no idea how I was going to provide for my children and give them the life they deserve.
We had moved into my parents’ home, which was a blessing but also quite hard. I knew I was going to have to move out, but with my low income, I didn’t know if I could actually afford to—or if I could, it would likely be a really run-down property.
Living here gave me hope that I would be able to provide for my children. It enabled me to take time, recover, and find myself again. I was able to help my children navigate this enormous change in a lovely and safe environment.
I don’t know if the landlords know, but leasing this property through you has been such a blessing. It saved me and gave me the strength I needed to recover and thrive. I have often thought that I don’t know where I’d be if it weren’t for your organisation and the landlords.
